A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has alleged that the dissolution of the party in the state was part of a plot to embarrass leader of the party, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi.
Eze in a statement condemned the dissolution of the executives of the party in the state, adding that President, Tinubu and Abdullahi Ganduje – the National Chairman of the party were behind the plot to spite Amaechi.
He warned Tinubu and others to be wary of Wike, whom he described as political chameleon, noting that the plot would backfire in no time.
“I am happy to note that both Tinubu and Ganduje have suffered and tasted the bitter pills of Wike in most of his attempts to decimate the party and to handover the party structure to him and his agents is nothing but sheer wickedness and unreasonableness because it will definitely backfire,” he said.
“It is however unfortunate that all the appointments so far made by Tinubu and his government have only favoured Wike, who fought Rivers APC to a standstill with the resource of the state,” he added.
