Candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Eleme Oyigbo Federal constituency in the just concluded election in Rivers state, Chisom Dike has withdrawn his petition at the Tribunal.
Dike, who recently met with former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
According to him, he remains a member of the APC despite meeting Wike and withdrawing the petition.
He said the reason for the withdrawal was to allow the current lawmaker concentrate on working for the constituency.
Chisom, also said President Tinubu won because of Wike’s support adding that he deserves to be appointed a minister.
He called on the former governor to consider joining the APC to help rebuild it.
He also accused some top officials of the party of working against Tinubu.
