Sacked Rivers APC Chairman, Chief, Tony Okocha has accused reinstated chairman of the party, Chief, Emeka Beke of leading the 56 Rivers delegates at the last presidential primary to work against President, Bola Tinubu in favour of RT. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi.
Okocha, who disclosed this during an interview at the weekend in Abuja, also accused Amaechi of planning to hijack the party in the state through Beke to fight President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
He vowed never to allow that happen, adding that Beke is not fit to lead the party.
“At the presidential primaries of the APC, Beke was the person who led the Rivers delegation of 56 delegates to vote for Rotimi Amaechi. That was how they scored 56 from the state.
“There is an intention to throw up Amaechi’s man and then he (Amaechi) becomes the APC leader and then uses the APC to fight Mr President in 2027. We will never allow that,” he said.
