Fational Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Golden Ben Chioma has accused the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi of excluding others from the party, so as to singlehandedly appoint the next Governor of Rivers State.
Chioma, who said this during an interview with The Punch at the weekend, said Amaechi wants to appoint the Governor for the benefits to be for him alone.
He said they would resist such attempt and continue to be relevant with issues on ground and not by being anybody’s errand boy.
“…We have always said that we will continue to remain relevant with the issues and we are not going to be relevant because we want to be somebody’s bootlicker. No!” he said.
“The Minister of Transportation is excluding all of us. He wants to appoint the next governor. He doesn’t want anybody to support the next governor. He wants the governor to be appointed by him for the benefit of himself,” he added.
