Senator Magnus Abe, and his supporters boycotted today’s state Congress of the All Progressives Congress, held at Polo Club in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
An aspirant for the Chairmanship position of the party, Hon. Ben Golden Chioma also boycotted the Congress.
Chioma, had in a statement said the Congress may not hold as he had petitioned the National Secretariat over the ward Congresses that were held few weeks ago, which he described as not valid.
He had also said there was no way he could participate in the Congress when he does not know the names of the delegates.
A chieftain of the party, Eze Chukwuemeka had accused Sen. Abe and his supporters of working for Governor Wike to destabilize the party.
