Ahoada West Local Government Council says plans are underway to relocate those affected by flood in the area.

Council Chairman, Hon. Hope Ikiriko disclosed this in a statement yesterday after affected persons called for help.

He said internally displaced persons will be relocated and given relief materials with proper medical attention.

Some of the indigenes in a chat with journalists yesterday, said their homes and farmlands have been taken over by flood.

One of them said, they have been rendered homeless and have nowhere to go. He also said their source of livelihood have been destroyed.

He noted that they will only support and vote those who come to their rescue this trying period.
