Presidential Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State says her Director-General, Abiye Sekibo escaped death yesterday as gunmen shot at his vehicle.
Spokesperson of the Council, Leleonu Nwibubasa who made this known in a statement said the incident occurred last night while Sekibo was inspecting venue of the presidential rally of Atiku Abubakar in Port Harcourt.
The Police is yet to react to the incident. Efforts to reach spokesperson of the command have not been successful.
