Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance in last year’s governorship election in Rivers State, Dawari George has returned to the All Progressives Congress.
George, who had left the party to contest was warmly welcomed by the National Chairman of the APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, and members of the National Working Committee at the party’s secretariat in Abuja, on Thursday.
The APC in a statement after the meeting said, “Dr Dawari Ibietela George, the Rivers State 2023 election governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, has returned to the progressive family. He was received today by the National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and other members of the National Working Committee at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.”
