The Police in Rivers State says it will investigate the death of a 21-year-old man identified as Sunday Irime who allegedly committed suicide on Friday.
The incident occurred at the Mile 3 axis of Diobu in Port Harcourt.
It was gathered that the deceased who was an apprentice mechanic was found dead in his house by neighbours.
Chief Security Officer of Nkpolu Orowurokwo community, God’stime Ihunwo said he informed the Nkpolu Police Division of the incident after he received a distress call from residents.
He noted that the corpse has been deposited at the morgue of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
