Former Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Amaechi has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to be neutral in this saturday’s Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections.
Amaechi, said this during a campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress in Ogba/Egbema local government area on Tuesday.
He said, residents of Rivers state have rejected Wike and called on Rivers people to vote for Tonye Cole as he would bring development to the state.
He described Tonye Cole as a business man, adding that things will change when he wins.
“Compare Tonye and the other man, then compare our government with that of Wike. Did Wike do schools, did he do electricity? Your health care, we did,” he said.
“When you see Tonye Cole who is a businessman, from business into politics, why won’t you invest in him? This is your time, come out and vote. When we win, things will change,” he added.
