Social commentator and former media aide to Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, Opunabo Inko-Tariah has alleged that officials of the state government invaded polling units during last saturday’s election and carted away materials.
Tariah, in a statement said the result declared by INEC did not reflect the wishes of Rivers people as they voted massively for the Labour party.
He urged the state governor, Nyesom Wike to support the All Progressives Congress as he did in last saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
He slammed the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmod Yakubu over the conduct of the elections, describing it as the worst election in Nigeria’s history.
Inko-Tariah also took a swipe at President, Muhammadu Buhari describing his administration as a shame and failure.
