The Rivers State Chapter of the Coalition of Non-Indigenes, CONI, says former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Felix Obuah is the only one that can succeed Barr, Nyesom Wike.
The group in a statement over the weekend described Obuah as a detrabalised Nigerian who loves everyone irrespective of their tribe and religion.
They appealed to party stakeholders to support the Onelga born politician to succeed Wike.
“We have critically analysed the antecedents of the contestants and came to a conclusion that Felix Obua, Youth empowerment guru, lover of non-indigenes, and employer of labour is the only one that can sustain Wike’s legacies,” it said.
“He is a detribalised Nigerian who loves everyone equally irrespective of where one comes from, religion or class – indigenes and non-indigenes alike, Christians and non-Christians,” the group added.
