Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe says it is the turn of Rivers South East to produce the next governor of the state.
Abe, said this during a meeting with the people of Zaakpon community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State at the weekend.
According to him, all other senatorial districts have produced governor of the state apart from Rivers South East, and that everyone has agreed that it is their turn.
He also said no Ogoni person has been governor, deputy governor or headed any major arm of the government in the state.
He urged people of the community to be fearless, adding that at the appropriate time everyone will know why they are taking some of the decisions being taken now.
Abe, was conferred with a chieftaincy title of The King That Fghts And Win by the traditional institution of the community.
