The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, has confirmed the killing of its Campaign Coordinator in Ahoada West local government area of the state
Publicity Secretary of the party, Darlington Nwauju who confirmed the incident in a statement yesterday, said Lennard’s life was “rigged” in the line of duty.
“Even in death, you’re better than your killers! Adieu Lennard…. husband, brother, uncle, friend, colleague, chartered surveyor, party leader!! The Earth shall arise and avenge your death!!!,” he said.
“Chisom Lennard ESV….a former colleague and Campaign Coordinator of APC in Ahoada West had his life “rigged” today in the line of duty,” he added.
It was gathered that Chisom was shot dead by gunmen dressed in Police uniforms while trying to stop them from carting away election materials.
