The Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, in Rivers State says 18 political parties including the All Progressives Congress are on course to participate in the Oct. 5th Local Government elections in the State.
Chairman of IPAC, Solsuema Osaro made this known in a statement in Port Harcourt on Monday.
According to him, preparations are ongoing for the conduct of the poll, noting that anyone trying to stop the election does not have the interest of the state at heart.
