Reactions have continued to trail the N10 million cash prize awarded to artistes that performed at Burna Boy’s homecoming concert, by Governor Nyesom Wike.

The Governor had during the concert organized in honor of the singer, for winning the prestigious Grammy award, promised to give every artist that performed at the show the sum of N10 million each.

Reacting to the development, Chairman of Rivers State Civil Societies Organization, Enefaa Georgewill in a statement said “We don tire for Tokenism.”

He said the Governor should first of all pay teachers their salaries, pay minimum wage, provide functional fire stations in the state, before any other thing.

“Gov. Wike Go Pay Unpaid Teachers First, Provide Functional Fire Stations,Pay Minimum Wage,Etc. We Don Tire For Tokenism!” he said.

He also commended Burna Boy for making the state and the country proud by winning the prestigious award.
