The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, RIVCSO has issued a 7-day ultimatum to the Police to vacate the council premises beginning from Friday June 21st to Friday 28 June or risk a statewide mass anti-police protest.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill issued the ultimatum in a statement at the weekend.
According to him, the continuous Barricade on the councils was insulting and demeaning to Rivers people.
Recall that the Police had in a statement said it would continue to Barricade the council secretariats pending the decision of the Court of Appeal.
