Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill has said that he retrieved the sum of fifteen thousand naira from the Rumuolumeni Divisional Police Officer after his men extorted three persons.
Enefaa Georgewill made this known in a post on Facebook, today.
According to him, the money was for bail from the three persons illegally arrested by the Police.
“RIVCSO Just Retrieved Bail Money From Rumuolumeni DPO After Police Officers At The Station Extorted 15k From 3 Citizens For No Known Crime,” he said.
A Facebook user identified as Roland Wilson also confirmed the development and commended comr. Enefaa for the kind gesture.

He was at the Rumuolumeni Police to retrieve some money stolen by the Rumoulumeni police men and handed over to their and owns,” he said
