The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, has called for the arrest and prosecution of the owner of Nwayioma Hotel in Onelga local government area of the state for allegedly locking one, Nnenna Obini in a room and starving her to death.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill made the call in a chat with Journalists in Port Harcourt, Today.
Enefaa who described the death of the young lady as unfortunate, said the organization would not take its eyes away from the case.
He also called on the Police not to politicize or sweep the case under the carpet as no one, no matter how highly placed is above the law.
Nnenna Onu Obini – a young female hotel staff was allegedly locked up in a room and starved to death by her madam for four days over failure to account for a certain amount of money.
