The Rivers State Police Command, has confirmed the arrest of a ritualist simply identified as Achor for attempting to use a 9-year old girl for rituals in Ibaa community at Emuoha LGA, Rivers State
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a chat with Journalists, today.
He said the commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan has ordered that the suspect be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, for investigation and possible prosecution.
According to reports, the suspect was arrested by soldiers after he had tied the little girl with white cloths, and was in the process of performing the ritual.
This was after the girl’s parents had raised an alarm over her sudden disappearance, which compelled the soldiers stationed in the community to embark on a search.
So bad! What a wicked world,? The guity should be punished according to the law.
