The Hon. Martin Amaewhule-led Rivers State House of Assembly has directed Julius Berger PLC to carryout remedial repairs on alternative routes to the Port Harcourt Ring Road.
The directive was issued during plenary on Friday.
Earlier, Leader of the House, Hon. Major Jack, drew the attention of the House to the fatal helicopter crash within the Bonny axis in Rivers State that reportedly claimed the lives of those on board.
Moved by the unfortunate incident the House resolved to hold a minute silence in honour of the victims and prayed God to give the families the fortitude to bear the pains.
