The Diobu Vigilante says the ongoing demolition of houses along the iloabuchi road in Diobu, Port Harcourt has increased crime and criminality in the area.
Chairman of the Vigilante Group, Amatari Bipilade disclosed this in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt Today.
He said hoodlums are using the demolition as an avenue to rob residents of their belongings,.adding that the exercise has empowered them to perpetrate crime.
He also called for support to enable them fight crime and criminality as they cannot effectively ensure peace in the area with the weapons they currently work with.
