Rhapsody of Realities 31 August 2025: God in Human Form
SCRIPTURE: Romans 1:4 …Declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.…
The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Now, that is an extraordinary statement because Jesus said so Himself, and when others referred to Him as the Son of God, He didn’t deny; He affirmed it.
But what does “Son of God” actually mean? I’ve explained it several times, but it bears repeating.
Son of God doesn’t mean someone born by God in a literal sense. “Son of God” means God in human flesh. So, when Jesus said He was the Son of God, the Jewish people around him understood exactly what He meant. They were angry because they recognized that “Son of God” signifies God becoming a human being.
Therefore, they accused Jesus of blasphemy, saying, “You, being a man, make yourself equal with God.” But that’s precisely who Jesus is, and His resurrection from the dead proves it. God became a man, took on flesh and lived among us to save us, that we might also become sons of God: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13).
He brought us salvation and eternal life so that we can live like Him and be in fellowship with God. Now we can relate to God as His beloved children. We can talk to Him and He talks to us. He brought us into His class. He’s made us like Himself. 1 John 4:17 says, “…as He is, so are we in this world.” Now we too have become sons of God: “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…” (1 John 3:1). Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. He is God manifested in human flesh, and through His resurrection, you gave me eternal life and union with you. I live in the consciousness of this divine relationship, walking in bold fellowship and communion with you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY
John 1:14
14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.
John 10:30-36
30 I and the Father are One.
31 Again the Jews brought up stones to stone Him.
32 Jesus said to them, My Father has enabled Me to do many good deeds. [I have shown many acts of mercy in your presence.] For which of these do you mean to stone Me?
33 The Jews replied, We are not going to stone You for a good act, but for blasphemy, because You, a mere Man, make Yourself [out to be] God.
34 Jesus answered, Is it not written in your Law, I said, You are gods?
35 So men are called gods [by the Law], men to whom God’s message came—and the Scripture cannot be set aside or cancelled or broken or annulled—
36 [If that is true] do you say of the One Whom the Father consecrated and dedicated and set apart for Himself and sent into the world, You are blaspheming, because I said, I am the Son of God?
1 Timothy 3:16
16 And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.
