Rhapsody of Realities 26 September 2025: Created to Know and Fulfil the Will of God
SCRIPTURE: Colossians 4:12 …always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
God’s desire is not just that you know His will, but that you stand perfect and complete in it. You were created to live in the centre of God’s purpose for your life, flourishing in and fulfilling His divine plan. Predestination is at work in you: “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:29).
Ephesians 2:10 AMPC says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” There’s a life that’s been prearranged by God for you to live and enjoy. It’s the good life, the transcendent life in Christ.
That’s why Paul commended Epaphras who laboured in prayer so the saints in Colossae would not only know but stand perfect and complete in the will of God. That means fully aligned, established, and functioning within the ambits of God’s perfect will. His will is that you prosper, be in health, walk in wisdom, win souls, live righteously, and reign in life. His will is revealed in His Word.
As you meditate on the Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you become synchronized with God’s plans and purposes and equipped to walk accordingly. Through the Word of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, you’re trained to know and walk in God’s divine provisions; your discernment sharpens, and your decisions reflect heaven’s interests and intent.
Even now, declare that you’re perfect and complete in all the will of God. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 13:11, “…it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven….” Affirm that you’re filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Let this be your consciousness, your life, and your testimony.

FURTHER STUDY
Colossians 1:9-10
9 For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things—
10 That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition].
Romans 12:2
2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
Hebrews 13:20-21
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Amen (so be it).
