Rhapsody of Realities 11 October 2025: Everything is in Him
SCRIPTURE: Psalm 138:2 “…thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”
Some Christians pray using Old Testament names like Jehovah Jireh or Jehovah Rapha, drawing from the revelations of God’s names in Scripture. However, it’s crucial to understand that all the power, glory, and authority those names represent are fully embodied in Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:9 declares, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Jesus is the complete expression of God’s nature. John 1:1, 14 further reveals, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Jesus, the living Word, is exalted above every name, as Psalm 138:2 affirms. You don’t need to call on Jehovah Rapha for healing—Jesus is your healer. You don’t need Jehovah Jireh for provision—Jesus is your provider. He encompasses and fulfills every revelation of God’s name. When you know Jesus, you know God; He is everything you need. As He said in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”
In Jesus, you find eternal life, divine health, prosperity, peace, righteousness, wisdom, and strength—everything is in Him. Embrace the fullness of who He is, and live in the reality of His all-sufficient grace. Glory to His Name forever!

CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank You for the unveiling of Your glory in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is everything to me—my life, righteousness, peace, health, and provider. I live in the fullness of His blessings and Kingdom because He lives in me. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY:
Colossians 2:9
9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].
John 1:1-3
1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word ]Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God [b]Himself.
2 He was present originally with God.
3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being
Colossians 1:15-19
15 [Now] He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation.
16 For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.
17 And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together).
18 He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent].
19 For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently.
