Rhapsody of Realities 10 October 2025: Proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus
SCRIPTURE: Romans 10:9“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
The proclamation of Jesus’ lordship is the key that unlocks the gift of salvation. Many believe in their hearts that Jesus died and was raised from the dead, but without actively confessing His lordship, salvation remains unactivated in their lives. Romans 10:8-10 clearly outlines the process: “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Believing alone isn’t enough. As James 2:19 points out, even demons believe in God and tremble, yet they are not saved. Salvation requires both believing in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and confessing His lordship with your mouth. This confession activates your faith, breaking Satan’s hold and transferring you into the Kingdom of God’s beloved Son.
In these last days, as we share the Gospel, we must emphasize the importance of declaring Jesus as Lord. This proclamation delivers people from darkness and establishes them in God’s Kingdom, where they reign in righteousness and victory. Let’s boldly preach this truth, ensuring others understand that confessing Jesus’ lordship is the gateway to salvation. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I thank You for the power of Your Word and the revelation of salvation through the lordship of Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord over my life, and I’m in His glorious Kingdom, where I reign in righteousness and victory forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 10:8-10
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Philippians 2:9-11
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
