The Presidency has reacted to the #RevolutionNow protest by some individuals in some parts of the country yesterday, Wednesday 5 2020.
Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity , Femi Adesina during an interview on Channels Television’s breakfast programme “Sunrise Daily” Today, described the protest by the group as “child’s play.”
He said: “was it really a protest? By my estimation, that just seemed like a child’s play because protests by their very nature are spontaneous things; they are mass things.”
“I just saw a sprinkle of people trying to be funny. As far as I am concerned, it is nothing to worry about because when you talk of a revolution, a revolution is always a mass thing.
The group had carried out a protest yesterday in some parts of the country against what they termed “bad governance” in Nigeria.
