The Nigeria Labour Congress says its organs will be meeting in the coming days to make appropriate decisions over the hike in petrol price.
NLC President – Joe Ajaero who made this known on Tuesday, said they accepted the N70,000 new minimum wage with an understanding that there would be no further increase in the price of fuel.
He called for the immediate reversal of pump price in the country, adding that the union feels betrayed by the Tinubu-led Federal Government.
“We demand the immediate reversal of the latest increase in the pump of PMS across the country,” Ajaero said in a post on X.
As you may know, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, recently increased the official price of fuel from N617 to N897 per litre.
