Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has reacted to calls by Governors of the Southern region, for Nigeria to be restructured.
Kanu in a post on Twitter, on Thursday, faulted the call, stating that what the country needs is secession not restructuring.
He said restructuring will not end bad governance in the country, as it cannot turn bad leaders into good leaders.
“What Nigeria needs is dismemberment, not some dodgy restructuring. “Will this your new #restructuring turn bad men to good men? It won’t,” he said.
“Do you want Nigeria restructured to the 1960 era that lasted only 6 years? Or to Aburi that drove you all mad enough to commit GENOCIDE?” he added.
The Southern Governors had during a meeting on May 11, in Asaba, Delta State, called for restructuring of the country to end agitation for secession in the region.
