Nigeria’s former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan says restructuring alone cannot solve all of Nigeria’s problem.
The Otueke born politician made this known while speaking at a function with the theme ‘Restructuring in Nigeria, on Thursday.
He said, “My conviction is that discussion on restructuring will not help except we restructure our minds because some of the challenging issues at the national level still exist at the state and local levels”.
Jonathan called on Nigerians to rather seize every opportunity on dialogue, in order to make the nation better.
Meanwhile, the presidency has said that only the National Assembly has the powers to restructure the nation.
Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, made this known in a statement yesterday.
