Opunabo Inko-Tariah, former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has explained the reason for the defection of members of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State.
The former APC chieftain in a statement on Wednesday said the party in the state picked a political foreigner as her flagbearer.
He noted that the party would have gone for a grassroot politician to stand a chance of winning.
“Rivers State APC picked a political foreigner as her gubernatorial candidate hence the reason for the defection of APC members,” he said.
