The Rivers State Police Command has reacted to reports from stakeholders that some hotels are flouting measures adopted to prevent the killing of females and other related crimes in hotels across the state.
Spokesperson of the State Command, Nnamdi Omoni in a chat with journalists yesterday said any hotel caught flouting any of the stipulated measures will be sealed.
Omoni said the team responsible for ensuring compliance with the measures have been going round hotels in the state to check compliance.
He noted that the team typically forwards its reports to the appropriate quarters for necessary action.
Omoni called on the public to report any hotel flouting the measures put in place by the state government.
