Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken to social media with a distress call, alleging that her husband, Ned Nwoko, is using security agencies to target her siblings in an attempt to force her into rehabilitation.
In a series of Instagram Stories on Monday, the actress claimed that her elder brother and sister had already been arrested, while her younger sister could also be detained unless she returns home and agrees to “rehab,” which she denies needing.
“I feel like I’m losing my mind… My big brother and big sister have been arrested, my baby sister might be arrested soon as well until I return,” she wrote, accusing Nwoko of calling her a drug addict and threatening to expose alleged mistreatment.
Daniels expressed frustration over the breakdown of their marriage, stating that she had tried to remain calm but could no longer endure the emotional strain.
“I’m really trying to be the bigger person by not saying or doing anything, whereas I’m young, petty and immature! Leave my family alone, Ned! And leave me alone too!” she wrote. “It is obvious it’s war!”
She lamented that the legacy they built together was now “about to be ridiculed by the whole world,” urging that relationships should not become hostile when partners lose interest.
In a follow-up post, Daniels spoke about the toll the situation has taken on her emotionally and the pressure of raising her children amid the ongoing controversy.
“My sons and family are the biggest challenge of my life but I will overcome… This is so freaking embarrassing! Hard girl like me crying,” she stated.
As of press time, Nwoko has not responded publicly to the allegations.
