Held at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, the event aimed to highlight NDDC’s achievements over the past two and a half decades. However, many who attended were surprised by the low turnout.
Some attendees and observers blamed poor publicity for the lack of participation, noting that there was little to no awareness of the event across the Niger Delta region. Attempts to get an official response from NDDC’s media team were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
