The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has announced the commencement of recruitment for 50,000 police constables, following presidential approval by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The recruitment drive, the PSC said, is part of efforts to strengthen community policing, bolster internal security and expand the manpower of the Nigeria Police Force.
According to a statement signed by the Head of Protocol and Public Affairs, Torty Njoku Kalu, the recruitment portal will open on Monday, 15 December 2025, and close on Sunday, 25 January 2026. Interested applicants are required to submit their applications online via www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng.

Those applying for the Specialists cadre must have a minimum of four credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings, as well as at least three years of experience and relevant Trade Tests.

Transparency Assured
The PSC emphasized that the recruitment process will be transparent, merit-based and credible. It warned applicants to beware of fraudsters, stressing that the application is completely free and no payment is required at any stage.
