A pro-PDP group, PDP Frontiers for Change and Progress has challenged the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike to prove his loyalty to the PDP by wooing President Bola Tinubu to join the party.
National coordinator of the group, Emeka Ikpegbu said this in reaction to a statement credited to the FCT Minister where he allegedly berated the Chairman of PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), Adolphus Wabara for praising Abia State Governor, Alex Otti’s achievements.
He berated Wike for accusing the BoT chair of anti-party, stressing that he lacks the moral justification to make such accusations as he is the one involved in anti-party activities.
He said, “Wike should first bring his principal, President Bola Tinubu, who he praises everyday to the PDP before preaching to us about anti-party.
“Is there any anti-party as bad as a former Governor and a presidential aspirant in PDP serving as a Minister under APC? How many times has Wike publicly praised President Tinubu yet nobody has sanctioned him for anti-party.
“Why will he begin to lecture us now on how to sanction members for anti-party?”
