Popular comedian and one of the leaders of the #EndBadGovernance protest in Port Harcourt, KOBaba has said that the nationwide address by President, Tinubu did not address the demands of Nigerians.
KOBaba in a chat with journalists on Monday said the speech only heightened people’s anger.
According to him, the protest will last for the planned ten days, after which the President’s speech will be reviewed for the next line of action.
He stated that the since the commencement of the protest, they have been moving from one location to another to raise awareness and draw the attention of government to issues bedeviling the nation.
He also said they moved about so as not to make movements restricted for residents for a long time.
KOBaba also warned against violent protest, and cautioned those who want to join the protest with the intention to cause violence to keep off.
He said, “Please, what makes Protest yield results is not violence, looting, or disruption of public peace. I know some people think otherwise, but peacefully delivering your message is better than ending it all because of violence.
