The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, says the Department of State Security Service, has invited them and other concerned parties to their office, over its planned strike against the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, for dialogue.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill who made this known in a post on his official Facebook Page on Monday, said the meeting will hold on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 by 10:00 am.
He said the meeting is to discuss on how the company can improve their services and comply to extant laws.
“DSS Calls For Dialogue. Invites All Party To Their Office For Discussions Around PHED Improving On Their Services And Compliance To Extant Laws,” he said
He said RIVCSO and other concerned electricity consumers, will give them the benefit of doubt, while mobilization for the protest continues.
Enefaa called on electricity consumers with different complaints, to send the messages across to him.
