Proprietors of Private Schools in Rumuekini, Obio/Akpor Local Government of Rivers State, have accused local vigilante group in the area, OSPAC, of collecting five thousand naira monthly security fee from them.
Some of the proprietors in a chat with Journalists on Monday, said OSPAC collects the outrageous amount from them, instead of the agreed one hundred naira for each building.
They said despite appeals for OSPAC, to reduce the amount, they have refused to give them a listening ear.
The proprietors, also explained that they are willing to support the group, who are doing a great job by security lives and properties if the fee can be reduced.
Meanwhile, efforts to reach the Commander of the group to react to the allegation, proved abortive.
