The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, says the cleric, U.O Miracle accused of assaulting a journalist in Port Harcourt is pleading for in- house settlement through his people.
Chairman of the organization, Enefaa Georgewill Made this known in a statement yesterday.
RIVCSO, had condemned the actions of the cleric and called on the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday to ensure his arrest and prosecution.
The Senior Prophet of Dynamic Flame of Fire Ministries, U.O Miracle is being accused of abducting and physically assaulting Glorious Abel, a staff of the Rivers State Television for stopping his programme on TV.
The prophet reportedly stormed the premises of the station at 11:00pm on Thursday, with his security aides; abducted the staff and took him to an undisclosed location where he was beaten up.
