Chairman of Rivers State Civil Society Organization, Enefaa Georgewill has said that the pressure applied on VAT by Governor Nyesom Wike should be applied to end Black soot, killing residents in the state.
Georgewill, disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page on Friday.
He said the Governor is fighting to ensure VAT collection in the state, because he is looking for money.
“Can Wike Apply The VAT Pressure On Black Soot That Is Gradually Killing Rivers People?Wike Is Just Looking For More Money,” he said.
Meanwhile the Rivers State Governor has inaugurated a committee to ensure the collection of VAT in the state.
