NATIONAL UNION OF RIVERS STATE STUDENTS (NURSS) NATIONAL SECRETARIAT COMMISERATES WITH HON. IHUNWO CHIMZIM CHARLES UPON THE DEMISE OF HIS FATHER LATE CHIEF IHUNWO FYNEFACE EJIKE
The leadership of National Union of Rivers State Students’ (NURSS) National Secretariat paid a condolence visit to Hon. Ihunwo Chimzim Charles.
This visit to place in the Port Harcourt residence of Hon. Ihunwo Charles Chimzim.
The purpose of this visit was to sympathize with Hon. Ihunwo Charles Chimzim and his family due to the sorrowful demise of his father, Late Chief Ihunwo Fyneface Ejike.
It could be recalled that Hon Chimzim who is the Director General of New Rivers Vision for Youth and Student Worldwide has been an active unionist over the years.
The delegation was led by the executive president Comr Levi Zachariah George.
After a brief introduction, the executive president, Comr Levi Zachariah George informed the bereaved of how shocked the union was as a result of the sad news received.
He encouraged Hon. chimzim and his family to always call on the union for support as regards the burial of Late Chief Ihunwo Fyneface Ejike stating that the union wishes to play an active role as regards the burial of his father.
He went further to assure Hon Chimzim that the union will always be there to encourage the family and support them through this time of grief.
The members and stakeholders of the union present prayed for the deceased, asking God to preserve and accept the soul of late Chief Fyneface Ejike Ihunwo, giving him eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord.
Hon. Chimzim in his response thanked the leaders present and the union in general for deeming it necessary to condole with him and his family in this sorrowful time.
He also stated that the visit of the union to him and his family has given great amount of courage, hope and joy to the family.
The visit ended with prayers taken on behalf of Hon. Chimzim and his family for God to increase their strength and mental capability to enable them scale through this period and come out bigger, healthier and better.
Rest in the bosom of the Lord, Late Chief Fyneface Ejike Ihunwo.
