Immediate past Governor of Rivers State and the FCT Minister- Chief(Bar) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON, GSSRS CON, GSSRS, Life Bencher & POS Africa is gradually uniting the entire political gladiators in the state across party lines under his leadership. His magnanimity and generosity is infectious and always disarm his harshest critics.
With his return to the state over the weekend to attend several functions of his friends, associates, as well as illustrious sons and daughters of the state was greeted with unprecedented reception by the leaders of the state.
Of particular interest was the rousing ovation for his entourage which was populated by the leadership of the major political parties in the state, including but not limited to the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and other political parties.
This is a pointer that his political leadership is very acceptable.
The high point of the visitation was the appearance of the immediate past State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Rivers state-Chief Emeka Beke who didn’t want to be left out in the emerging COALITION for a more progressive and development driven consensus for peace building in the state.
The excitement of Chief. Emeka Beke knew no bounds with the recognition of his presence and exchange of pleasantries from the FCT Minister who also assured him of a robust brotherly and friendly disposition to his associates as well as other citizens of the state on the evolving political engagements.
The programs started with the thanksgiving service of Senator Barinada Mpigi Ph.D, DSSRS for his reelection victory at Tai to the birthday celebration parties of Hon Isobo Jack and Senator Olaka Wogu respectively .
The programs were very well attended by the Senate President-Senator Godswill Akpabio and his wife, Deputy Senate President, Senate Leadership and Senators, FCT Minister- Chief(Bar) Ezenwo Nyesom Wike CON, GSSRS, Life Bencher, POS, Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and Hon. Members, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martins Amaewhule, DSSRS and members of the state Assembly, National Vice Chairman, South South of the APC, Chief Victor Giadom, Rivers APC Chairman, Chief Tony Okocha, State Secretary and Publicity Secretary of the APC in Rivers state.

The FCT minister emphasized the need for patience and support for the President and his policies. He further stated that he is committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President and requested a buy-in by Nigerians.
He commended the National Assembly for their show of support to the President and asked the National Assembly to continue their support to the President.
