President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the postponement of his trip to Iperu, Ogun State, to prioritize supporting the people of Plateau State.
In a statement, the President said he will be in Jos to commiserate with families who have lost loved ones and to reaffirm that those attempting to spread fear will not succeed. He emphasized that his administration will continue to strengthen security measures and ensure that justice is served.
Following his visit to Plateau, President Tinubu will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday, before continuing with scheduled engagements in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa, focusing on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth.
The President concluded with a message of unity and resilience: “In moments of grief, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building. The work continues. Nigeria First.”
