President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the suspension of twelve directors of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The order was given on Friday following a request by the presidential panel investigating the allegations of corruption and misconduct leveled against the estranged acting commission chairman, Ibrahim Magu.
The presidential order though made on Friday, takes effect from Tuesday, 14 July 2020.
