The Federal Government of Nigeria says it has told airlines in the country to begin the process for the resumption of international flights as operations would soon begin.
This was disclosed by Aliyu Sani, National Coordinator of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, during its press briefing yesterday, Thursday, in Abuja.
“We have made recommendations to the aviation industry to commence the process for opening international airports provided all existing international and local prevention guidelines on Covid-19 are in place,” he stated.
He said, hopefully, the airports would open for international flights in weeks, rather than months.
