The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution (PHED) Plc, has apologized for the power outage being experienced in all of its Franchise area.
The Company, in a statement on Twitter said the blackout is due to loss of supply from the National Grid.
It noted that it is in touch with the Transmission Company of Nigeria, and that power will be restored as soon as possible.
The statement reads,
Dear Esteemed Customer, The Port Harcourt Electricty Distribution (PHED) Plc, regrets to inform you that the power outage being experienced in all PHED Franchise area (Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River and Rivers), is due to loss of supply from the National Grid.
We are in touch with the Transmission Company of Nigeria and we believe that steady power supply will be restored as soon as the system is stabilized.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
