The Bureau of Public Enterprises says the Federal Government has secured a $500 million World Bank loan to empower Nigeria’s energy distribution industry.
Head of Public Communication, BPE, Amina Othman made this known in a statement on Thursday.
She said the loan will help address the identified gaps in the electricity distribution companies, adding that the financing has been secured to help address the numerous issues that Discos face in the country.
