The University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, has reportedly issued an order for all breastfeeding women and infants to leave the hospital owing to power outage.
According to Rivers Mirror all patients in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) were ordered to leave the hospital because their generating set is bad due to poor management of the hospital.
It also said the hospital administration declined to write recommendations or referral letters for the aforementioned patients.
Efforts to reach management of the hospital have not been successful.
