Some women in Diobu, Port Harcourt Today, a staged a peaceful protest to the office of the PHED over epileptic power supply.
The women who carried placards with inscriptions: ‘’The Heat is too much,’ ‘No ‘Nacking’ from our husbands over heat,” No Light No Payment’, “PHED Give Light, No Bills” expressed frustration over the lack of power supply.
The women marched through some streets of Diobu before heading to the PHED office.
The women also said they have been unable to meet with their husbands due to heat occasioned by power failure.
However, the Company in a statement said the lack of power supply was due to collapse of the national grid.
